Refund & Return Policy

At Konicha, we take immense pride in the quality of our stone-ground Japanese matcha. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Returns
  • 30-Day Window: You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all seals intact.

  • Perishables: Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on tea tins that have been opened or tampered with, unless the product is proven to be defective.

2. Cancellations
  • Before Processing: You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before the order has been processed for shipping.

  • After Processing: Once a tracking number has been generated or the status is marked as "Shipped," the order can no longer be cancelled. In this case, you must follow the standard Return process once the item arrives.

  • How to Cancel: To request a cancellation, please email info@konicha.com immediately with your Order Number in the subject line.

3. Refunds
  • Inspection: Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item.

  • Approval: If your return is approved after inspection, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

  • Timeline: You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

4. Shipping Costs
  • Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Deduction: If you receive a refund, the cost of the original Standard Shipping may be deducted from your refund.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged product or if the quality does not meet our Ceremonial Standard, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence. we will arrange for a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost to you.
